Mission Nouvelle Génération wins the 2026 Excellence Award

Mission Nouvelle Génération (MNG) is proud to have received the 2026 Excellence Award in the Collective Entrepreneurship category.

This prestigious recognition was presented during the 42nd Excellence Awards Gala organized by the South Shore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, held on May 28 at Hôtel Mortagne in Boucherville, in the presence of more than 500 members of the business community.

MNG stood out for the innovative solutions it develops to address social, economic, and environmental challenges, while providing essential community-based services to its members. This recognition, awarded by the largest chamber of commerce in Quebec, highlights not only the quality of our management and the strength of our organization, but also the significant social impact we have on the families and individuals we support every year.

This achievement is the result of the outstanding work of our Board of Directors, leadership team, employees, and more than 700 volunteers who contribute their time and expertise annually. It also reflects the commitment of the hundreds of partners and businesses that support our mission and help us continue our efforts to fight poverty with effectiveness and dignity.

Over the past several years, more than 20,000 people who have benefited from our services have successfully entered the workforce and are now actively contributing to Quebec society. These results demonstrate that when communities work together, lives can be transformed and stronger futures can be built.

This award belongs to the entire Mission Nouvelle Génération community. It confirms that when citizens, businesses, volunteers, and community organizations unite around a common purpose, they can create a lasting and meaningful impact.

While we celebrate this important recognition, our work is far from finished. There are still families, children, and vulnerable individuals who need support. We remain committed to extending a helping hand and continuing our efforts to build a more inclusive, supportive, and compassionate society.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our sponsors, Caisse d’économie solidaire Desjardins and Investissement Québec, who encouraged us to submit our application.

Thank you to everyone who believes in our mission and contributes every day to making a difference.

Together, serving the community.
